Madeleine Boucher of Fantasy Enterprises does Fused Glass Pieces. She started studying and creating stained glass in 1977, and in 1984, she began doing the fused glass designs. Most people think Madeleine does "stained glass" and she does, technically. However, there is a great difference between stained glass and fused glass. Stained glass is making an image out of pieces of glass. This is the medium that people are most familiar with. Fused glass is fusing an image onto glass; the piece is then fired in a kiln. Fusing allows her to get a lot of detail in a smaller area than she could with a stained glass piece (you will also find many stained glass pieces in her "inventory", however, and many pieces which are a combination of both mediums).
Madeleine lives in the Northwest and has been an AKC Dog Show vendor for over 10 years. She has also sold her pieces at local rabbit and cat shows. She was active for many years showing Pomeranians, and she is also a Rabbit Show Judge. She is now the proud owner of nine cats!
Madeleine does over 160 Dog Breeds and Varieties. To see her other designs, including cats and horses, please go here. Madeleine creates most of her artwork herself, but she has a couple of additional artists that draw for her as well. Madeleine is an *extremely* talented artist, as you will see for yourself!!
If you have a dog that you don't see on Madeleine's breed list (even a mixed breed), go to her Custom Work page for more details. In fact, Madeleine can do just about any design you'd want (within reason)--even your kennel logo!
Most of Madeleine's orders go out her door in 3-4 weeks, and certain pieces can take up to 6 weeks for U.S. orders only. The Stepping Stones will normally take 6-7 weeks to leave her studio. At Christmas time and very occasionally during the rest of the year, *some* orders will take 6-7 weeks. Under normal conditions, your order should reach you within 1-5 work days, depending on your location. Madeleine uses both United Parcel Service and the U.S. Post Office, so we need a street address and a post office box if you have both. Foreign orders will take longer, depending on whether you have decided on air or boat for delivery.
